In Rachel’s first session we celebrated her role as a BossBabe, incorporating a black blazer, and stuck with classic sets otherwise. For her second session she wanted to flip the script and celebrate ALSO being a homemaker - wife and mama to a beautiful daughter! The kitchen set was a perfect choice to highlight that! I love the juxtaposition between the two different sessions! This stunning woman really is proof that you can be everything you want to be! You don’t have to sacrifice one thing to be another.

I would like to introduce ya’ll to another 2022 Boudiebassador - Daniela! Not only is she sweet as pie with a bubbly personality, but she is the QUEEN of layering lingerie and inspires me with her style constantly! Every time Daniela comes into the studio she blows me away with her creativity in layering lingerie to create unique looks! And this session was no exception! I have even found myself channeling my inner Daniela during other sessions and layering things up! I love that each session I have had with her we are able to capture a different side of her personality! This go ‘round we channeled Cannababe vibes, a little kink, and hit the kitchen to round things out!

So what should you do if you start your period before your boudoir session?!

I encourage all clients to take their monthly friend into consideration when booking a session date to avoid issues down the road. However, if you are anything like me - while my periods are light - the timing is unpredictable. She kind of does her own thing and shows up when she feels like it - kind of like that friend or relative that pops in unannounced and usually at the worse possible time.

Something powerful happens when you let your guard down and are vulnerable in a safe space with someone you can trust. Someone that is not going to make you feel less than. But instead is going to hype you the fuck up and make you feel seen and empowered. A person that is going to stand next to you in your most vulnerable, insecure state and instead of criticizing says “YOU’RE A BAD BITCH!” Let me be that person for you.

These images still aren’t exactly what I hoped for - and I’m admittedly still a little butt hurt that my inspo didn’t work out. But I love them all the same. I feel beautiful and fierce when I look at them. And that is exactly the point of everything I hope to achieve in my business.

I styled Andrea in her FAVORITE mustard yellow bodysuit from the Client Closet. The color is seriously PHENOMENAL on her - it’s no wonder she picks it almost every time she is in for a session! During this LIVE I really focused on demonstrating how much variety I can get in your final images without you moving a whole lot. I always strive to make a boudoir photoshoot as painless on you as possible while still capturing ample variety in your final images!

I really wish I would have recorded behind the scene video of me trying to capture these self portraits. It was NOT as glamorous, sexy, or coordinated as it appears from the final images. After photographing a few more friends and models for practice I quickly found how impactful a boudoir photoshoot can be for someone.
