The Doctor is in | Kansas City Boudoir Halloween Photographer
Do you love halloween as much as i do? to be honest - i love any reason to dress up in something out of the ordinary or decorate in general.
kaylie and i had so much fun during her limited edition halloween boudoir photoshoot at my studio in levasy, missouri. it was an overcast day which turned out to give us those perfect gloomy, spooky vibes. our theme for this halloween photoshoot was “bloody picnic”. and what better picnic guest than a sexy-scary dr. plague?
my best friend, amber, loaned me her life size coffin for the session which turned into the perfect picnic prop. the sheer black lace dress that miss kaylie selected for wardrobe from the divulged client closet was absolutely perfect! we mixed some red food coloring with corn syrup to create a realistic fake blood situation that wasn’t toxic. This was super important since I knew i was going to make her put some in her mouth. tehehe.
after finishing our bloody picnic on the graveyard hill at the divulged studio, we headed inside to play with some candles. i love that these low heat candles allowed us to create some really cool effects by dripping wax down her hands.
i can’t wait to release the details for these limited edition halloween boudoir sessions on monday! there will only be a limited number of spots available, so if you want to be one of the first on the list for information - make sure you are signed up for my newsletter! i have included a handy dandy link below.
Have you heard?? Today is Miss Kaylie’s BIRTHDAY!!! What better way to celebrate than with a Boo-doir session. That’s totally a thing ya’ll! It’s actually quite nostalgic that Kaylie came in yesterday to model in the Limited Edition Halloween Set for me LIVE in the Facebook VIP group!
Today is also our friendversary!!! I met Kaylie 3 years ago when she booked a Daredevil Experience for her birthday! We have become great friends over the years and have worked together many times since then!
If you missed the LIVE shoot, I linked the replay down below! Go check it out!
I am pretty dang excited about this year’s Limited Edition Halloween set design! One of my ambassador’s, Kaylie, gifted me this magnificent 7ish foot coffin that is absolutely perfect for these sessions! My bestie, Stew, and I put our brain juice together to create this amazing set! Once the coffin was added, everything else kind of fell into place. *pssst - she is also the brains behind adding the wall of black curtains to the studio space and it has been a GAME CHANGER even for regular sessions.
Do you love Halloween as much as I do? Kaylie and I had so much fun during her Bloody Picnic Limited Edition Halloween Boudoir Photoshoot at my studio outside of Kansas City. We had fun with both props and wardrobe to create a spooky set that was a ton of fun to create!
