“Does a boudoir photography session have to be femme?” I’m here to tell you - HELL NO IT DOESN’T! Boudoir is for EVERYONE and doesn’t have to look any sort of way. To me, boudoir is more about honoring the parts that make you who you are and celebrating your body at any stage. Boudoir Photography is an intimate experience that helps you gain confidence and boost your self esteem.

The workshop covered everything from consent and safety, to the emotional nuances and importance of client prep and post care in BDSM/KINK scenarios. They covered power dynamics and of course cool poses with bondage props as one would expect. I am OBSESSED with the workshop location they selected for this class! We had cages to play in, a furry red room, and a glam bedroom complete with a mirrored vanity that gave us SO MANY different looks!

The first type of client has no idea how they want their boudoir experience to look they just know they are excited [and nervous] to come in and have the experience! The second type of client is just as excited about the creative planning process as they are the experience itself. The last client is somewhere in between. Technically there’s a 4th type of client.
