You know what is really bringing me a lot of joy lately? These Fly on the Wall Friday sessions that I have been shooting LIVE in the Facebook VIP group! Seriously though - I’m not just saying that. It brings my 2 favorite things together - photoshoots and community - for a fun chat while I photograph a muse in the studio. I’ve had several people in the group reach out and say that they really appreciate seeing what it is actually like being photographed by me. I’ve heard that it helps calm some nerves before booking their own session with me knowing that I am going to guide them through the entire process!

Stained Glass Window Boudoir Session | Fly on the Wall Fridays LIVE Photoshoot

Last Friday, I worked with long time client and 2022 Boudiebassador, Kandra, in the Stained Glass Window Set for the VIP Fly on the Wall Friday Live Photoshoot Event. I absolutely loved hearing how much she loved the outcome of these photos and that it wasn’t a set she normally would have picked for herself! Kandra considers her style to lean more edgy and I think we nailed it even in this otherwise “zen zone.”

Last Friday Daniela came back into the studio to model for the first FLY ON THE WALL FRIDAY photoshoot. We went live in the VIP group while I photographed her in the new Vintage Area. I am OBSESSED with the moody retro glow in these images. Daniela was a real vintage vixen styled in this blue velvet bodysuit from the Client Closet. You may have heard me talk about how Daniela is the lingerie layering queen before you and this session was no exception!

RACHEL ROCKED BOTH ROLLS FLAWLESSLY! PEEP ALL THE AMBIENT LIGHT CREATED FROM LAMPS, CANDLES, AND THE NEON SIGN! I CAN’T WAIT TO SHARE THE CINEMATIC CLASS THAT I LEARNED THAT FROM!

KANSAS CITY BOUDOIR RED ROBE PHOTOSHOOT | LIVE ON FACEBOOK

I LOVED THIS LIVE SET ON THE STAIRCASE I DID WITH LISA LAST FALL USING THE WIDOW ROBE FROM THE VAULT CLIENT CLOSET. I HAVE LOST TRACK THE NUMBER OF TIMES I HAVE HAD THE HONOR TO PHOTOGRAPH LISA AT THIS POINT - BUT EVERY TIME WE WORK TOGETHER WE CREATE BEAUTIFUL IMAGES.

IT’S WILD TO ME THAT AFTER ALL OF THESE YEARS WE ARE STILL ABLE TO MIX THINGS UP TO GIVE HER A TOTALLY DIFFERENT LOOK THAN HER PREVIOUS SESSIONS. IT WAS ALSO BONKERS TO ME THAT I HADN’T PHOTOGRAPHED LISA IN ONE OF MY GLORIOUS ROBES BEFORE THIS LIVE PHOTOSHOOT! I AM DYINNNNG OVER HOW STUNNING LISA LOOKS IN RED! THE WAY THE LIGHT SHINES THROUGH THAT ROBE IN MY TALL WINDOWS IS DIVINE!

I styled Andrea in her FAVORITE mustard yellow bodysuit from the Client Closet. The color is seriously PHENOMENAL on her - it’s no wonder she picks it almost every time she is in for a session! During this LIVE I really focused on demonstrating how much variety I can get in your final images without you moving a whole lot. I always strive to make a boudoir photoshoot as painless on you as possible while still capturing ample variety in your final images!

I am pretty dang excited about this year’s Limited Edition Halloween set design! One of my ambassador’s, Kaylie, gifted me this magnificent 7ish foot coffin that is absolutely perfect for these sessions! My bestie, Stew, and I put our brain juice together to create this amazing set! Once the coffin was added, everything else kind of fell into place. *pssst - she is also the brains behind adding the wall of black curtains to the studio space and it has been a GAME CHANGER even for regular sessions.

Quite some time ago (Fall 2020 to be exact eep), I invited my Boudiebassador, Ashley, to come back in the studio to shoot another LIVE session for the VIP Group! Did you catch it?

This time we opted for the kitchen set! Ashley is a baker by trade so the kitchen set was oh so fitting for her! I am all for making a mess in the kitchen! We incorporated flour, cocktails, and ice cubes for a fun touch to her images.

I am back today with another session that I photographed LIVE in the VIP group with Miss Kaylie. This time we headed outdoors to the Laundry Line Set. With Summer in full swing, I have been spending a lot of time photographing babes outside during their session. While it has been hotter than a mug out there - the results are always well worth the sweat!

Last fall, during my 60 days of lives event in the VIP group on Facebook, I had Miss Kendra come back in to shoot a set LIVE with me! I love being able to do live photoshoots to give you all a behind the scenes look at what it is like to have a session with me! The feedback that I have received is that this takes some of the pressure away from booking a session since you get to see how much direction I will give during the shoot. It is never as scary as it seems!
