Read MoreI talked a lot last week in the VIP group about capturing different sides of your personality, what you consider “sexy” and various ways we can customize your experience with personal touches. I pride myself on being able to create a truly custom luxury experience for every client, whether it is your first or 10th time in the studio.
Read MoreBoudoir photography is not just about getting dolled up and posing in some sexy lingerie (though, who doesn’t love a good lingerie moment?). It’s about reclaiming your power, rediscovering your confidence, and embracing your body for all that it is and all that it does.

You will get to try things on from the closet and bring in your own pieces for styling advice.
Read MoreCan we talk about the elephant in the room for a second? MONEY is a topic many people tend to shy away from but I think it’s important to talk about. There are many misconceptions about boudoir and sometimes inquiring clients get sticker shock when I send them my pricing. I get it. We see posts all the time of our local photographer offering family sessions for as little as $100. So when I send you my price guide and there are 4 numbers before the decimal - it's shocking. However, I find that usually sticker shock comes from clients not being fully educated on what a boudoir session entails.

Read MoreDuring your session I will have you moving your hands around within a pose to achieve movement and emotion in your final gallery. I also love capturing tighter detail shots to create more intimacy. Some of these detail shots definitely include your fingers and toes, so we want to make sure they are photo ready as well.

Let’s chat tanning shall we?! A question clients often have when booking a boudoir session is “Should I tan before my photoshoot?” Depending who you ask, you might get varying answers - so I’m sharing my opinion regarding the matter.
Read MoreSo what should you do if you start your period before your boudoir session?!
I encourage all clients to take their monthly friend into consideration when booking a session date to avoid issues down the road. However, if you are anything like me - while my periods are light - the timing is unpredictable. She kind of does her own thing and shows up when she feels like it - kind of like that friend or relative that pops in unannounced and usually at the worse possible time.
Read MoreAfter photographing a few more friends and models for practice I quickly found how impactful a boudoir photoshoot can be for someone. It is a full day, focused on making you feel like a million bucks! The session is SO MUCH FUN. It is like playing dress up with your gal pal and laughing the whole time. You get to see yourself dolled up with the red carpet treatment - complete with hair and make up - posed to perfection. It is having the biggest hype man - me - by your side cheering you on the whole day. GO LITTLE ROCKSTAR! It’s finally being able to see the beauty in yourself that everyone that loves you sees. TALK ABOUT EMPOWERING!

We have all ruined garments in the washer or dryer at least once in our life. And IT SUCKS! Our intimate wear is one of those categories of clothing that come with special handling instructions to make sure it lasts a long time. You want your lingerie to keep its shape and withstand wear after multiple washes.

Since the set is built from the basic Black Wall corner, we can really customize this set even further to match your personality. Not feeling the more glamorous floral bench? No problem! Swapping it for more neutral elements or even stripping the set down to a very clean slate can really personalize the set to what you envision!

The basic elements of this set are the black wall, grid windows, and the concrete floors making it the perfect minimal classic studio portrait set. I love the clean modern lines and industrial feel of this corner.
By bringing in other elements, we can quickly change up the look of this set. I love bringing in the old, paint chipped ladder, lush green plants, and other furniture to instantly add texture and interest.

The Laundry Line set just screams sweet sweet summertime! The sheer and lace pieces add a soft and romantic feel to your session, while the bright white minimal color pallet helps bounce the sunlight around for the most flattering glow and sparkling eyes in your portraits. The laundry line set can be styled and posed more casual or a little more feminine - the choice is yours! I love that we are also able to easily tweak this set to included other personal elements. Several clients have even hung flags for causes dear to them - such as military, police, or pride!
Read MoreI love the creek set very obviously for it’s natural beauty. The rocks are perfectly positioned for a place to sit next to the creek without needing to actually get wet if you don’t want to. The overall colors from the trees and grass, rocks, and muddy creek are so warm and inviting. The sun peeks through the tree tops to provide interesting shadow patterns. The creek set is located just inside the property’s tree line, making it private enough to opt for implied or full nude which is always thrilling. There is a lot to love here.

I have gotten such positive feedback each time I photograph a set LIVE in the group.
