She Did It With Her Best Friend | Kansas City Boudoir Photographer

I had an absolute blast during Amber and Ashley’s BFF Boudoir Session. I love that these long time best friends decided to step out of their comfort zone and book a boudoir session together for their 30th birthdays! For their experience, each babe received a full 3 set individual session with a BFF set added on. I love that we set their experience up this way because they really got the best of all worlds. They were able to each get a full experience to celebrate their birthday, complete with pro hair and make up, while also celebrating their life long friendship in a combined session!

SESSION DETAILS:

HAIR AND MAKE UP: Hillary Rehms

CLAWFOOT TUB SET: I really loved the black lace body suit that Amber brought in for her session. Black is always a classic and timeless choice. We paired it with a pair of black heels that she also brought to add in a touch of glamour and elongate the legs.

BEDROOM SET: I love the black satin sheets we used for the bedroom set for her session! Black Black is classicly sexy and goes with basically everything. I love the sheen the satin sheets give to the images! Amber brought in a red and black lace 3 piece lingerie set, I love the feminine details of the lace paired with her more casual plaid button down. Having layers in your wardrobe like this allows us to get a lot more variety in your images which is always a win in my book!

OUTDOOR SET: Summer is my favorite time of the year in general, but particularly for sessions! The Divulged in home studio is located on several acres of private land in the country that we can use for your experience. This is one feature that sets Divulged apart from other boudoir photographer’s in Kansas City. We selected the outdoor laundry line and tree swing set for this session. I love the way the sunlight bounces off of the white sheets hanging from the line. Amber’s boots were the perfect pairing for this outdoor set to infuse her personality into the session! I pulled from the pink tones in her boots and styled it with a pink crop top and robe from the Client Closet.

BFF SET: For Amber and Ashley’s BFF portion of the session we opted for a “movie night” vibe complete with popcorn. Anyone who has been following Divulged for a minute knows I am PRO MESS - so naturally the set ended in a popcorn fight. The plaid button downs they brought styled perfectly with leg warmers from the Client Closet to achieve the fun and laid back feel we were going for!
