Be My Valentine | Kansas City Boudoir Photographer

Hello love birds!

I hope you all had a wonderful Hallmark Holiday Sunday filled with love - especially for yourself! We don’t generally do Valentine’s very big in our house - but I will still take any excuse to get flowers, chocolate, and quality time with my partner.

I don’t often have extra time for fun creative sessions, especially around holiday times like Christmas and Valentine’s Day. I didn’t really have anything planned, set wise, for Valentine’s Day, but when my friend Emily was over and we got a creative itch - I jumped on it!

I am so glad that we were able to get a few fun images over the weekend while we were making ridiculously fancy cocktails and sugar cookies.

SESSION DETAILS

Hair and Make Up: Done by Emily herself

Kitchen Set: Emily came over to bake sugar cookies and make fancy cocktails and the messy aftermath left from that would have been a missed opportunity. We were feeling creative from our baking festivities and I wasn’t able to shoot any session at all last week due to our pipes freezing (FUCK WINTER) so I had an itch to make magic.

You guys! I have had these red heart rhinestone pasties for about 2 years in the Client Closet, but had yet to use them. This was literally the perfect opportunity! I love how playful and fun these images feel while still being sexy as hell. The red lip was the cherry on top! We kept the rest of her look fairly simple with black panties and fishnet thigh high stockings.

I am always pro “let’s make a mess” in the studio so naturally we covered her in flour. Of course we kept our Strawberry Mimosa to use for some photos - it was too pretty not to!
